I heard a rumour that TCS have recently had to pay L&G £1.5M because of a penalty clause in their contract. Anybody got more details?

Oh! I just heard that the work rate is so low that L&G may have to start paying TCS for staff doing nothing as there is a contract minimum. This shower of turds deserve eachother.

Oh and of course at least one of TCS other major accounts, in fact one of our competitors, and where we probably caught the TCS bug from in the first place, have had enough of playing the "i'm better than you at managing contracts" game and are ejecting TCS to bring IT back inhouse. Just as the outsourcing consultants from Gartner etc told us would happen.

This shower of turds deserve eachother. Quite. Not such Clevor Trevors now, are they? Maybe they should have paid more attention to this messageboard which completely accurately foresaw which way the wind would blow

Down here in Horley we also heard that TCS had to pay a penalty but not sure why? - Anything to so with SOA?
It's getting a bit empty down her but I hear Kingswood is getting empty as well - do they still have 4 day parking?

This is to do with TCS not meeting their offshore targets and therefore have to pay £1.2M to L&G.
However L&G have not met there man day rate so they have come to a compromise.
Either way it means that TCS need to get more ex L&G resource out the door and offshore as they can. Its all down to the man day rate and offshore is obviously cheaper than onshore.

It is getting extremely empty in Kingswood and this is before the latest redundancies have been 'completed'. Car park is also empty, but 4 day car parking still there. Probably the residents are more important than the employees. we all work under the threat that we will be the next to be made redundant. One wave after the other and the process from announcement to 'completion' is extremely long. Why can't they just get it over and done with instead of doing it in bits and pieces? If they go on like this soon there will only be one bay occupied .

You have to remember this is L&G.
4 day parking will have to be removed as there is no justification for it. Typically L&G are very slow in reacting.........
Who comes in for BTS, nobody knows, personally I think they are putting the finishing touches to outsourcing deals with two maybe three companies
I'm sure there wont be long to wait, we already know our fate they are just dragging this out but behind closed doors everyone is talking about it. This has to be one of the longest redundancies in history..............

Well if L&G change IT partners and sack TCS I wouldn't want to be in the shoes of the people receiving the KT. The Lovely ****** seemed to think he had L&G over a barrell, I wonder how long it will be before the L&G hold their hand up and back track on having an in house IT dept again? Anyone want to open a book?
