And the hits just keep on coming. Another 200 redundancies announced today in the P&A division, with 150 coming from Protection areas.
Those green shoots people keep talking about obviously haven't hit us yet. And whilst everyone is working their backsides off to make sure they avoid the boot the extra job cuts will simply be absorbed by people doing well above their hours. If everyone at L&G worked the hours they were supposed to this company would be in real trouble.
I wonder how the company are planning to keep any goodwill there might be left amongst employees? Certainly the Start, Stop, Continue isn't going to do it. More like Shut up, Bend Over and Take it at the moment.
Maybe they should go ahead with getting rid of the 4-day parking scheme. Not like parking space is an issue anymore...

Yes, it all looks random, one review on top of another...do they have a clue of what they are doing? It looks pretty shambolic. I am losing count of the numbers announced, who is reviewed when....People were asking if they were to be 'reviewed' again even though they had just finished the latest 'support function review'. What matters? Any energy left for that? Not from me, my energy is used up just trying to deal with this situation (and not necessarily wanting to stay!) Maybe it is time for the top man to go? Are there any outsource possibilities for the top 'Leadership' post? far far away I have in mind.
Anyway at least they seem to have made an effort to tell us before we found out in the press. Wow, that IS progress.

The only reason they are doing it bit by bit is so they keep under the news radar. If they came out and were up front with the actual figures of people to go it would make the BBC at 6pm. So by dividing the L&G up into several divisions and only making 200 here and 150 there is keeps it all very nicey nicey. Tim has lost the plot it's about time the share holders stared to ask some questions about what he's doing to the once mighty L&G.
