Well that didn't take long did it. Let me see Horley was supposed to be our home well into 2010. Yeah right. Lies lies and more lies. I hope they give all those poor sods who have to travel the extra distance from Hove the extra mileage and perhaps some traveling time. Can't see the extra travelling time being forth comming though cause TCs are as tight as a Ducks bum! This is very sad. How are they going to accommodate the extra parking? Or is it now travel by train cause we don't like cars. Lets face it TCS have never been very car friendly!

Blimey, they must have reduced your numbers to get the remainder into the Redhill office. To anyone who has not been there, its a slum with no facilities, parking only for the very select few, and is a very long walk from the nearest public parking. Its also a reasonable hike from the station if its raining. Still, probably wont be for long, if TCS follow the Amex model they won't need any UK offices within a year.

Additional mileage is being paid including parking. Don't forget these people are still on ex L&G contracts.
I hear people are being asked to seek assignments of the L&G account to reduce the numbers going forward. If you would like unpaid leave for a few months thats also being offered.
Yep the account is working well. ;D

Boy am I glad to be out of it. I am now able to sleep at night. I'm one of those BTS people asked to leave in August, refused to attend my exit interview in protest, what good would that do? Lucky enough to get a new job contracting within one week of leaving, more pay AND doing something I enjoy. As somebody said within this site, if you are go enough, GET OUT now and live a life. Thanks to L&G the redundancy helped me complete my house purchase mortgage free, so that's something I suppose. Management at L&G is the worst I have ever known, gut less and covering their back sides. I left as a PM with nothing and now a Program Manager responsible for £1.5m budget and a staff of 6 directs and 20+ indirects. Just goes to show L&G mgmt have no idea of the potential some of their employees may have if given the chance. But that's too late as all the best have already left!
Good luck to you all. Can't be long now before the company is sold off.

Well good for you. The L&G never did appreciate it's good staff and now it probably has lost 90% of those. It does look like the L&G will be sold off to the highest bidder or chopped into bits that can be sold off. Well done Tim, how to ruin a perfectly good business in one easy lesson. How does he sleep at night? I hope he has a miserable Christmas and his oven goes on the blink on Christmas day.

No chance of little Timmy stuffing and roasting the bird. This task will be outsourced, no doubt to a 5 star establishment. Let's hope their kitchen is spotless...
