TATA in bed with the queen of sleaze

Margaret Moran MP, one of the greediest of the disgraced MPs in the expenses scandal, has been lobbying on behalf of TATA to enable them to bring staff into the country, according to this report. Ms Moran was also one of the MP's exposed in the recent sting that exposed MP's who were prepared to lobby for cash.

Did any TATA cash find its way into Ms Moran's grasping mits? Surely not! A respectable Indian company would never indulge in any underhand practices of this kind.

She added: ‘The immigration points system was going to throw that. I actually went and saw Tata who are the big Indian IT company...so we got that points system changed. So they still are able to bring workers in for big projects.’

TATA executives are clever you see: they allegedly used some of the dough they got from work they never did to buy off politicians. Sounds fair

Caution is required - those ex-L&G staff still working on the L&G account at Redhill are innocent bystanders here. L&G started all of this and negotiated a deal that required TCS to offshore the development work.

OK. TCS do bring their own people over on short term visas to gain experience by working alongside the technical L&G specialists, analysts and architects. But then they go back home.

We have nothing but sympathy for them since they've left us. Most of them got screwed and the remaining lot will get screwed.

news in our area of the business and i wont say which one, is that a few ex-L&G techies are getting killed in Redhill for trying to be honest, so i am very sorry for them and if it were up to me i'd take'm back in a heartbeat but that won't happen because they'll be got shot off by TATA.

what you didn't say is that when your TATA lot finish gaining their experience is that they will get rid of the ex-L&G workers but not the useless IT managers.
